- set-hostname=linux - computer's network name
- set-mbr=off - do not modify the MBR during the installation (set to 'off', if you want to use your loader);

Installing a hard disk with LiveDVD, takes about 6-10 minutes, depending on your hardware.

If you use a separate partition boot, then you need to copy the
contents of the directory of the boot /

Portage 2012 - contain Gnome3 and KDE version 4.6.3 above are not compatible with xorg-server-1.5.3-level libraries.
So this is the last LiveDVD - contains the KDE and Gnome.
At Portage in 2012, you can build a system with LXDE OpenBox and XFCE4,
using a bunch: FGLRX-9.2 + kernel-3.xx + xorg-server-1.5.3
A bunch of FGLRX-9.2 + xorg-server-1.5.3, works with any version of a stable kernel.
